When batching cocktails in bulk, it is still important to use proper food-safe equipment. 

One commonly used vessel for batch cocktails mixing storage is 5-gallon buckets purchased from hardware stores. Some hardware stores do sell food-safe buckets, which are clearly labelled as such.

The more standard orange buckets, however, are typically not food safe and should not be used for beverages.
